Clearwater Lake Provincial Park Logging

Clearwater Lake Provincial Park is known for the clarity of its namesake lake. It is 593 square kilometers of lake and lowlands interspersed with mixed parkland and boreal forest. While classified as a Natural Park under Manitoba’s outdated multiuse park scheme, 23 percent of the park is available for clearcut logging as well as mining.
